Teaching Guitar Since 2000

D Minor Latin Improvisation

In this improvisation as in most I use the rest stroke in the right hand. There are some really cool pull offs and hammer on effects.

Remember these improvisations are here to show you possibilities and to inspire.  If you learn all the scales and licks though you really need to create your own.

Improvising is more than playing up and down the scales.  Improvisation borders on composition.  Yes you have some licks that you might use more than others but you still want to create something new and exciting everytime you improvise.
