Just wanted to know your impressions about taking up online guitar classes. Are they as effective as the classroom ones? I have come across a few online courses that offer videos of various guitar lessons. Do they help?

They can be, it just depends on the teacher just like in classroom lessons. In the beginning it still is good to het hands on advice like hand positioning etc, as you become more advanced the online classes can be more effective
Sorry about last comment. My guitar was moved and the e string was not tuned correctly.
Your Transcription of Las Golondrinas does not match what you play. Measure 3, beats 2,3,4 seem to be a half step off. I am questioning measure 6 now and find it very frustrating to have to go to your video and back to the music and find these things.
I think there are some really good online lessons. There has to be a way to receive feedback from your teacher though on position, sound etc. especially in the beginning stages. If skype lessons are available that would be really cool. Once you’re more experienced you can learn a lot from video alone. Hope this makes sense. Stefan
